Bulgaria says begins port terminal transfer from Lukoil

MOSCOW, Aug 21 (PRIME) -- Bulgaria has started a transfer of the Rosenets port terminal to the government from Russian oil producer Lukoil after termination of a concession agreement, the Transport Ministry said on Monday.

"Negotiations on the procedure of transfer of operative control over the Rosenets port terminal to the government are being held between state enterprise Port Infrastructure and company Lukoil Neftohim Burgas… The sea administration issued an order to delist Lukoil Neftohim Burgas from the register of port operators," the ministry said.

Parliamentarian group PP–DB, of the parties We Continue the Change and Democratic Bulgaria, suggested stopping the concession deal for the port terminal with Lukoil Neftohim Burgas in July. After that parliament said it was to terminate the deal because of sanctions against Russia.
